Review of how to form “zh”: Press the sides of your tongue against the inside surfaces of your upper side teeth toward the back of your mouth. The front part of your tongue should be close to the roof of your mouth, right at the edge of the ridge where the roof arches up. There should be a small groove in the middle of your tongue as you push your voice out. This is a voiced sound, so you will hear your voice when you say it.
