Review of how to form unstressed "uh": The unstressed "uh" sound is a relaxed sound. Let your jaw drop open and relax your tongue so that is is about half way up inside your mouth. Keep your mouth and tongue relaxed as you say the sound. The unstressed "uh" occurs as an unstressed syllable of a word.

Practice the following paragraph. On one occasion, the police received a frantic call from a woman reporting an attack. She stated that a man broke into her house again, and that his attack made her very afraid. It occurred at about eleven o’clock at night, and in the woman’s opinion, the police should put out an alert on the man and arrest him as soon as possible. The police agreed and sent out anotherpolice car to search the area for the man. At one point, the police spotted the man, but he managed to escape by the skin of his teeth.
