Review of how to form "m": To form the "m" sound, place your lips together so that no air escapes through your mouth. Keep your lips together as you say the sound. The "m" is a voiced sound, so you will hear your voice when you say it. It is also a member of the group of consonants called the "nasal sounds" because it goes through the nose when saying it.

Practice the following paragraph. Outdoor sports are becoming more popular these days. In the summer it is very common to see many people take up swimming and rock climbing. In the winter, where the climate permits, many men and women go snow skiing. Even children seem to get the hang of this sport quickly. Although it is dangerous, almost everyone who lives in a cold climate has tried skiing. For those who do not enjoy skiing, they may find it more enjoyable to sit in front of a warm fire and watch someone else skiing on TV.
